Portfolio Show

Web Development

A webpage promoting Western's Design BFA's end of program portfolio show. Designed and built from the ground up on a quick turn around, this project was a fun way to push my coding knowledge while still meeting a tight deadline.

Western Washington University’s Design BFA program hosts an annual portfolio show for graduating seniors entirely organized by the students themselves. To do my part, I created an engaging one-off webpage showcasing the event, the students, as well as detailing location and time.

Fully Responsive

Invitations to the show were sent out to design professionals and alumni in the area, and ease of use on any device was an absolute necessity.

Using Bootstrap, a mobile-first front-end component library, allowed me to make this website thoroughly responsive. Unique type treatment and grid layout are preserved throughout desktop and tablet views, while on mobile text styling and orientation is less complex to maintain clear communication on a smaller scale.
